You will assist in the assessment of new patients, contribute to ongoing management, and review when it is appropriate for patients to be transferred back to the general adult's team.
You will ensure that patients receive appropriate clinical assessments and that there is appropriate medical input into care planning.
You must have 1 year of paediatric experience working in a health or social care setting as a Paediatric Complex Care Assistant. Fluent oral and written English language skills. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Driving license preferred. Commitment to quality care and support.
You will be fully supported at all times by qualified Nurse Managers that oversee all Onecall24 Healthcare packages of care.
You will form a key part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team within this role, becoming part of a team that truly believes in quality and person-centred care.
You will be involved in the recruitment of, and the ongoing development of support workers by carrying out staff supervisions, candidate interviews and providing general guidance and expertise.
You will possess excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with staff, people we support and outside professionals.
