You will also be supporting with reception, diary management, and general administration and retailing of products. Experience, Qualifications and Personal Qualities: - Qualified to Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent), Level 4 is highly desirable.
You should be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
You will be responsible for providing a range of therapeutic treatments such as deep tissue massage, sports massage, and pregnancy massage (additional skills such as Reflexology would be an advantage).
You will be expected to tailor treatments to each clients needs, maintain accurate client records, and work collaboratively with other practitioners to deliver holistic care.
You will not be responsible for making diagnoses. Instead, you will complete structured assessments and detailed clinical reports that are presented to a multidisciplinary team, where final diagnostic decisions are made by senior clinicians (e.g. consultant psychologists or psychiatrists).
You will act as the first point of contact and provide support to both customers and colleagues, with all matters relating to safeguarding, across Beyond Housing's operating area in North Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
You will ensure all alerts are acted upon promptly and fully investigated to conclusion.
You will lead and manage a team of practitioners delivering health and wellbeing interventions to adult drug and alcohol users, utilising both harm reduction and abstinence-based treatment approaches. The successful candidate will inspire and develop a team dedicated to providing tailored support and interventions in a prison environment.
