Additionally, you will discharge statutory duties related to the care of adults and their carers, maintain professional qualifications, and develop effective working relationships with all partners.
You will support children and young people with disabilities to engage in play activities whilst providing a safe environment to widen their independence and social skills.
You will work with them, their families and other agencies to meet their assessed needs and support them to achieve their potential. - Include assessment, planning and interventions with Children in Need, Children Looked After and Children in need of Protection, as well as young people preparing for adulthood.
You must have previous experience working within the children with disabilities team
