You will assist both individual children and small groups, helping to close gaps in learning and promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
You will be an important part of a nurturing school community where every child’s progress is recognised and encouraged. Key Responsibilities:
You will need to meet all of the below criteria to be considered for this position: NHS experience within either community or acute discharge teams Hold Occupational Therapy degree (MSc or BSc) and full HCPC registration Have access to own vehicle for work purposes
You will be an integral part of the school, joining a team of TAs who are very experienced and that you will be able to learn from. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
You will be required to support children on 1 to 1s and may be required to assist with personal care when necessary. Although experience working with special needs in a school setting is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what matters in this role.
You must be comfortable with personal care and be happy to get stuck in!
You will support pupils across the classroom, working 1:1 or in small groups, and assisting the class teacher with day-to-day learning.
