You will join our amazing Community Service team in Llandrindod Wells, Welshpool , Powys. The service provides valuable support for individuals with sensory loss to live the life they want and experience the world.
You will provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
You will work closely with teaching staff and support teams to help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
You will be trained in techniques such as CRISPR-Cas9, working in miniaturised plate formats under supervision. Support innovation and optimisation: Keep up to date with new scientific approaches in CRISPR screening, genome engineering, and functional genomics. Apply improvements to assays that help discover targets across multiple therapy areas.
You will be part of our successful Swim School team, teaching either in a group or individual lessons.
You will need to have a passion for swimming and teaching ensuring that excellent customer service is being delivered at all times. The candidate must hold a Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification however the relevant full training will be provided to the most suitable candidate.
