You will be responsible for undertaking internal audit and assurance activities, and for supporting services to deliver quality improvement initiatives in line with Hft’s Quality Assurance Framework.
You will provide services with appropriate advice and support, and work closely with various management teams to develop and improve best practice across services.
You will be working alongside our team of 5 Vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Veterinary Care Assistant & 5 Client Care Advisors. This role is part time (18 - 20 hours per week) and includes 1 in 5 weekend days. Our great location close to Derby city centre which means we benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base.
You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift.
You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members.
You will have experience in leading strategy but happy to roll your sleeve's up and handle the day to day operational elements.
You will be tech-savvy and data driven with a forward-thinking approach to digital HR, CIPD qualified to level 5 or above with strong understanding of employment legislation.
