You will be required to have good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience of staff training is desirable as is experience of supporting accreditation to the ISO 15189 standards. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to join one of the most established pathology networked services and be part of the development of the wider ME2 network.

You will have an allocated case load which includes complex cases.

You must be able to travel effectively and within a reasonable timescale to meet service requirements, this could include being responsive to last minute unplanned visits to non-local appointments, as such access to your own transport is essential.

You will be seeing patients who have been triaged from across our 4 PCN practices at a centralised location. These patients will have one issue requiring same day assessment and management. Complex patients e.g. pregnant patients or those on palliative care register would not be eligible to be seen in the acute hub.
