You will support efficient and patient focused service and will ensure safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in any area of the Acute Medicine department. 80% of the post holder’s role will be clinical and 20% related to clinical audit, teaching, self-development, development of the service and research.

You will oversee the review of some child in need plans particularly prior to closure and will have responsibility to lead in a practice area. There will be opportunities for your own professional development and for being part of developing our team and service.

You will have a practice educator qualification or on course to achieve one.
