You will be working alongside emergency and urgent care services and will be assessing people of all ages, whatever their mental health difficulty at the first point of contact. The majority of this work is telephone based but there will be the opportunity for face to face engagement in the community.
You will have support from the Team Managers and also the Service Manager.
You must have an interest in and experience of working in a multi-disciplinary way, be able to work quickly and proportionately and have confidence in respect of decision making and positive risk taking.
You will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote all areas of development, including communication, physical skills, and emotional wellbeing.
You will also help maintain a safe, stimulating environment and follow safeguarding and welfare policies in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
