You will be responsible for working on horizontal borers to become a key member of the team, assisting in production engineering. This role would suit a machinist with experience working on manual or CNC machines, looking for a days-based role with the option to maximise earnings through overtime.

You will also contribute to work planning and support Manufacturing Leads in achieving wider team objectives. Key Responsibilities * Set up, program, and operate 5‑axis milling machines to produce complex, high‑accuracy components. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure precise and compliant output.

You will also be responsible for the self-inspection of finished goods from the machine to ensure process control is maintained. Responsible for following all health and safety guidelines within the Shopfloor environment. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

We currently have a vacancues for 2 x CNC turners at HOB Ltd. We are looking for a time served turner with Fanuc Control Experience, working predominantly with medium to large size manufacturing. Our hours are Monday to thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, with Friday being 7:30am to 12:00pm. Rate & benefits to be discussed at interview. Please apply within if interested. You will produce machined parts from engineering drawings to a high level of accuracy, using all standard engineering workshop machinery (Manual and CNC lathes, milling machines etc.).

You will have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to inform and explain technical elements to stakeholders with a varying degree of technical knowledge.

You will partner closely with industrial designers, electronics/controls engineers, manufacturing & supply-chain partners, and the company founders to bring innovative, sustainable, manufacturable products to market that align with POTR’s mission.
