You will have practical knowledge and competence in building and construction, as well as the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks and compliance issues such as health and safety regulations.
You will be familiar with construction and development component components and materials and will be able to properly compare them to plans and requirements.
You will be able to influence organisations to bring about improvements and be decisive and clear about what is needed.
You will need to be able to remain professional whilst dealing with potentially challenging circumstances at the scenes of incidents. This is a frontline specialist engineering post.
You will lead and support staff, ensure high-quality outcomes for service users, and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, National Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
You will be an experienced supervisor or manager with a strong background in housing support, social care or a similar regulated environment.
