You will work across a wide range of projects, from early concept through to manufacture and delivery, often dealing with problems that do not come with a ready-made solution. This role will suit an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and responsibility, and who may be interested in stepping into broader technical leadership over time.
You will work closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers to ensure robust quality systems, effective corrective actions, and full compliance with AS9100 and regulatory standards. You will have previous experience in the design of electrical installations for compact or enclosed areas, within ships or boats, buildings, products or services.
You will need to be proficient in the use of Autodesk AutoCAD (ideally with other 3D packages), as well as Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel & Outlook.
You will ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards including AS9100 and NADCAP, lead audits internally and externally, and champion lean practices within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Ideal Candidate: Experience:Proven experience within a quality team and managing quality assurance systems in the aerospace sector.
