You will ensure the smooth running of the centre on a day-to-day basis by overseeing all clinical areas, safeguarding and supervision of the nursing team, co-ordination of doctors/surgeons/anaesthetists, being the main point of call for clinical and safeguarding matters and by being a part of the supervisory team.
You will combine management leadership with two clinical days each week, while guiding a team who deliver safe, compassionate and high quality care.
You will have three management days and two clinical days each week.
You will receive SOE training, clinical supervision, peer review and management development, along with support from a wider network of SARC Managers.
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Night Care Assistant. We'll also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
You will play a vital role in managing long-term conditions, carrying out structured medication reviews, and supporting safe prescribing.
You will also be given the opportunity to run pharmacist-led clinics and, where appropriate, manage minor illnesses. Main duties of the job
