You will take responsibility for ensuring that nursing care is safe, effective and compliant with CQC standards, while supporting the wider management team in running the home. What you'll do as Clinical Lead: - Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
You will deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services within the prison setting.
You will conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice on pharmaceutical care.
You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
You will educate and counsel inmates on the proper use of their medications.
You will combine management leadership with two clinical days each week, while guiding a team who deliver safe, compassionate and high quality care.
You will have three management days and two clinical days each week.
You will receive SOE training, clinical supervision, peer review and management development, along with support from a wider network of SARC Managers.
You will provide specialist nursing care for patients with benign and malignant urological conditions, including education, treatment, and basic investigations.
You will also contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions and clinical decision-making. Support and training will be provided by senior nursing colleagues, a well-established team of surgeons and oncologists, and the wider MDT.
