You will work alongside the existing management team to help grow and develop the practice in a positive way. This role would suit an experienced all-round candidate, previous managerial work would not be essential.
You will need to be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration to apply to this role.
You will represent the Scottish Ambulance Service on specialist groups, together with the emergency services and Scottish Government and engage with the development of training opportunities with other key stakeholders. Major incidents can occur at any time, and you may be required to provide a response in the role of Tactical Advisor, or similar leadership role.
You will run the whole unit when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent, and you will report any resident concerns—whether an elderly resident has mobility issues, a medical sample needs to be taken or medication administered.
You will have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
