You must be Dual Fuel qualified and also be 3 phase trained.
You will support risk assessments, contaminated land assessments, and geotechnical design inputs on projects across Durham and the wider region.
You will also liaise with contractors, laboratories, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, and to budget.
You will lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems, taking ownership from concept through to detailed design and validation. This is a product-focused role requiring strong CAD capability and the ability to work independently with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier stakeholders.
You will be responsible for supervising and managing teams on small to medium sized geotechnical ground investigation projects on site, ensuring compliance in a technical, commercial, and HSEQ sense.
You will also be responsible for logging rock and soil samples (such as boreholes and trial pits) and carrying out field testing and surveying, among other requirements.
You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.
You will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple ground investigation projects from start to finish.
You will also contribute to tender document preparation, report writing, and client communication.
