You will have line management/staffing responsibility for the Property Services Team and budgetary responsibility for the Property revenue and capital budgets.
You will provide effective management and team leadership to the Property Services Team and will support the Head of Service in strategic planning working in partnership with customers and colleagues.
You will manage your workload efficiently, provide excellent customer service (this is at the heart of this role), and you will be expected to deliver expert advice.
You will be able to manage your workload independently, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
You will operate under the Council’s Worksmart arrangements which promote mobile and flexible work practices from any council premises travelling throughout the Council area.
You must be able to travel independently throughout the Renfrewshire wide area. An SVQ level 3in Social Care or HNC in Care or Occupational Therapy Support or equivalent is desirable as is the use of SWIFT.
You will lead and nurture a dedicated team of social workers, manage the delivery of Social Work services within a specific professional and/or geographical area, uphold excellence in professional practice and risk management, handle budget management ensuring resources are used effectively, and conduct staff supervision, offering support and strategic deployment.
