You will be responsible for advising clients directly and managing the drafting and execution of relevant documents. While a STEP qualification is advantageous, it is not essential. The ideal applicant will possess at least one year of post-qualification experience, a background in private client work, and the ability to manage a varied caseload with confidence.

You will have engineering input in all project stages from inception, through design and construction, to demolition, recycling, and reuse. Your technical and commercial experience, and liaison with multi-disciplinary teams will be vital to the success of the projects you work on

You will be based in Lerwick, Shetland.

You must be available to live and work in the remote island of Shetland.

You should be able to lead and motivate site personnel, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure optimal performance and productivity. You would also need to be able to identify and address any issues or obstacles that arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.

You will have experience working with financial information and systems, be confident using Microsoft Office and have strong organisational and communication skills.

You will be accurate, able to work on your own initiative and manage deadlines, and bring a warm, professional manner to your work with staff, service users and visitors.
