You will work with a strong client base that includes leading insurers and major brokers, while being encouraged to develop your own network within the market. Ideal candidates will have 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience and be qualified in Scots law or dual-qualified, although those qualified in England and Wales will also be considered.
You will work closely with a cross-office team supporting major financial institutions and multinational clients across sectors such as finance, energy, pharmaceuticals, and media.
You will represent high-profile clients on a variety of large-scale, nationally significant infrastructure projects including solar, battery, offshore/onshore wind, and hydrogen. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ PQE, with proven experience in the property aspects of energy and infrastructure projects.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside market-leading experts, providing regulatory and commercial legal advice on a diverse range of complex and exciting projects. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE and relevant practical experience providing regulatory and commercial legal advice on large-scale projects.
You will advise on the design and implementation of reward structures and equity incentive plans, as well as support remuneration committees and private equity clients on management incentive issues. The role involves working closely with an experienced team and a diverse client base, giving you real responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact from day one.
You will manage your own caseload efficiently, contribute to the team’s collaborative environment, and engage in business development and industry networking.
You should be confident managing complex matters, mentoring junior lawyers, and working independently or collaboratively. Strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet demanding deadlines are essential.
