You will work in partnership with teaching and support staff to differentiate learning materials and break down learning barriers for your new pupils across KS3 and KS4.

You will offer small group and 1:1 support to a variety of different pupils, ranging from those that are lower/mixed ability to ensure they reach their full academic potential and those with SEMH (social, emotional, mental health).

You will work alongside your new colleagues to deliver an inclusive, accessible and stimulating learning environment for your new pupils by getting to know them as the individuals they are and utilising an array of learning equipment.

You will utilise an array of strategies to support their speech and language development, such as Makaton, PECs, emotion cards, and associative material.

You will be the main point of contact for your new pupil, meeting them at the school gate, walking them back to their grown-up at the end of the day, and giving accurate feedback on their progress.
