Classroom Teaching Assistant jobs in Doncaster

You will collaborate with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams to help pupils engage in learning, regulate emotions and develop positive coping strategies. These settings require patience, consistency and a relational approach to behaviour - making this role ideal for individuals with previous SEMH or SEN experience.

You will assist and encourage the young adults to take part in all activities and tasks carried out by the school including physical activity, lessons and crafts. The young people will have needs such as autism, developmental language disorder, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, EBD, ADHD, PMLD, SLD and moderate learning difficulties.
