You will beresponsible for: - Completing inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles, - Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults. - Ensuring vehicles meet safety standards. - Complete paperwork as required What you'll need to succeed - Experience as an HGV/LGV Mechanic or Technician.
You will be required to take the lead role in all lifting operations and securing loads and be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the lorry and crane. Working week will involve lifting, removing, and installing machinery plus working as part of the Mechanical/electrical engineering team that is likely to involve some manual fitting work.
You will be expected to carry out a range of duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, in Waste Management and Transportation.
You will be able to work both independently and as a team member.
You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
