You will be joining an industry-leading Tier 1 contractor renowned for delivering major and complex infrastructure projects across the UK. This multi-accredited contractor is well-known for their commitment to quality, safety and innovation as well as valuing its people and investing in their growth.
You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship. - This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little or no knowledge/experience of the occupation and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a similar or higher-level qualification in the same or similar subject of the apprenticeship.
You will have design experience in temporary works gained on civil engineering projects and will be looking to join the company to further develop your knowledge and skills.
You must have commercial experience working in a design environment in the UK on a range of civil engineering projects including, tunnels, shafts, or civil infrastructure
You will lead the civil engineering function, ensuring all assets are designed, specified, and delivered to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and quality.
You will manage a team of engineers, providing design governance and oversight across civil contractors, including design houses, works contractors, and ancillary building systems.
You will be joining an industry-leading civil engineering contractor based in Birmingham specialising in delivering major large-scale infrastructure projects across the Midlands region. This multi-accredited and established contractor is well-known for theirmitment to quality, safety and innovation as well as valuing its people and investing in their growth.
You will also gain valuable experience working with Water and Wastewater authorities, with training provided to support your growth in this area. Key Responsibilities: - Leading Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs. - Offering pre-planning advice and supporting project planning activities.
