You will be part of a supportive and established team dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for looked after children and care leavers. Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of young people aged 16-18 within the Children in Care pathway. Undertake statutory visits, reviews, and care planning in line with legislation and local procedures.

You will operate within a fast-paced Duty Team, acting on referrals from the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). Your responsibilities will include attending to Section 47 enquiries and completing single assessments. You will also have access to a 24 hour helpline for assistance and support for yourself and next of kin through any of life’s problems. You will implement individual and group interventions, adjusting and refining formulations to meet patient needs.

You will also support staff development through training programmes and provide supervision to Assistant Psychologists, helping to build a strong and skilled team.

You will also support the response to Freedom of Information requests submitted to Children's Social Care. As well as this, you will ensure services users are supported when accessing their records; and signposted to additional appropriate support if required.
