You will be responsible for conducting virtual analyses of components and systems, supporting the product development lifecycle from requirements capture through to design validation and compliance.
You will have experience in CAE techniques such as FEA (static/dynamic), MBS, NVH, and modal analysis, and familiarity with 1D analysis tools (e.g., Simulink, Matlab) and engineering hand calculations.
You will have working knowledge of APQP/NPI processes to AIAG standards and fluent in core tools, and be proficient with IMDS system. Knowledge and experience of IATF 16949/ISO 9001 tools and techniques, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerancing FCF’s inspection equipment and techniques is essential for this role.
You will work across a variety of environments, from controlled laboratory tests to field-based evaluations, requiring strong practical problem-solving skills, data acquisition expertise, and adaptability.
You will have strong knowledge of instrumentation, test rigs, and data acquisition systems and the ability to translate requirements into test procedures and setups.
You will have a proven track record of the design, development, integration and delivery of complex systems and the practical application of the Systems Engineering V-model throughout the project lifecycle.
