You will provide intensive one-to-one support to kinship carers to empower them to become resilient, well informed and equipped with a strong support network to help them care for the children in their care.
You will help them to navigate their local ecosystems and support them to unlock community assets and support.
You will have knowledge and experience of Adult Safeguarding, with the ability to think critically and independently to ensure the most appropriate pathways to care and support are utilised. Experience of conducting S42(1) information gathering and decision making, and Section 42(2) enquiries is essential.
You will also need to have a clear understanding of safeguarding processes to ensure that adults at risk are supported.
