You will be focusing on cases that range in value from 100k upwards and will be involved in key projects within the Claims function. The Complex Team consists of 12 professionals who all offer support in this rewarding but challenging role as you will be working together to achieve both the team's objectives and your own.
You will also be supported in your insurance exams if you wish to take them.
You will act as a first point of contact for members and their clients, managing enquiries by phone and email and guiding parties through a defined dispute resolution process.
You will handle your own caseload, carry out mediation calls, and work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to help achieve fair and satisfactory outcomes.
You will understand and be able to implement negotiation skills. This requires a calm, professional and mature approach, and an ability to be flexible and priorities under pressure.
You will provide broking and administrative support to the team and prepare renewal notices, policy documents and update new business documentation. Ideally you will need to bring some previous experience in commercial insurance.
You will need to have keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
You will work directly with members and consumers, managing dispute cases from initial contact through to resolution, in line with organisational values of integrity, professionalism, collaboration and commercial awareness.
