You will need to assist clients in the absence of a carer, that is to undertake care calls in extreme emergencies.
You will be expected to take the on-call phone weekly.
You will also be required to shadow new carers into their role, conduct spot checks, supervision and staff appraisals.
You will manage your own caseload autonomously, provide comprehensive care, and take a lead role in dual diagnosis provision. The role also involves clinical governance activities, staff support, and implementation of best practice guidelines. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver specialist complex needs services for clients with mental health and substance misuse issues.
You will assist with the team in implementing a comprehensive assessment process and a range of time limited therapeutic interventions, working within a multi-disciplinary team.
