You will need to assist clients in the absence of a carer, that is to undertake care calls in extreme emergencies.
You will be expected to take the on-call phone weekly.
You will also be required to shadow new carers into their role, conduct spot checks, supervision and staff appraisals.
You will advocate for and appreciate individual needs to achieve outcomes based on evidence-based assessments.
You will spend quality time with children in our care, understanding their views, their life events, and supporting them to understand and recover from what has happened.
You will be registered with Ofsted
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the service including oversight of Social Workers, Support Workers, and admin staff.
You will oversee foster care recruitment and retention for the region while working on developing the service and ensuring the highest standard of care are put in place
