You will use design experience to ensure that you are putting forward a unique offer that makes the best use of space whilst ensuring the customer is fully committed to the design solution.
You will conduct home visits where necessary and measure room sizes to ensure the company has sufficient information to fulfill the client brief.
You will lead and develop a team, from within the Temporary Works CoE department, providing safe, practical and economical designs for internal clients to a high standard of professional competence and in compliance with company procedures. This role can be based at our Leeds, Solihull, or Kilsyth, Scotland office, with a hybrid working schedule.
You will undertake feasibility assessments, analysis, preliminary and detailed design. Carry our design risk assessments and apply mitigation's. Joining and established team, this is a hybrid role, with a 50/50 split of home and site work for surveys and validation of the build along with some overnight stays depending on where you are based.
You will collaborate with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage the Design Process – Oversee all design stages from pre-construction to project completion. Coordination & Compliance – Work closely with architects, consultants, and internal teams to ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with regulations.
