You will lead the coordination, integration, preparation, review, and approval of design activities across the Unit, ensuring high standards and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the delivery of all design work for roads and structures within the Unit, ensuring contract standards are met and work is carried out by qualified staff.
You will process enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders such as the general public, external agencies, Council staff at all levels as well as Elected Members and be expected to do this promptly, efficiently and accurately.
You should have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills as this is a busy and demanding role with often conflicting priorities.
