You will join a close-knit commercial team with direct access to senior surveyors and directors, offering clear development and progression within a professional consultancy environment.

You will support the delivery of both pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services across multiple live commissions.

You will have considerable freedom to play with models and processes in consultation with local stakeholders to achieve the outcome of making our MPBs great places for clergy and lay people.

You will give 16 hours (2 days) per week to this role and be recompensed either £20k pa or by a pro-rata credit to the benefice that releases you to undertake this work.

You will have previous Procurement experience and/or qualification along with the following: - Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills. - Strong research and analysis skills. - Outstanding attention to detail. - Good IT skills including Microsoft Office. - Ability to establish excellent supplier relationships.

You will also be expected to help create new tools within excel which are used within the proposals process to help generate the quotes. There may also be the need from time to time to attend a customers site / meeting to support the Sales Managers from a technical perspective if this appealed, but this will be infrequent and plenty of notice will be provided.
