You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in a production environment. Competent operating a range of metal removal equipment including conventional & CNC milling machines (HAAS), lathes, surface grinders & drills.
You will also be able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work.
You will have a strong maintenance pedigree with experience on control systems, robots, ideally with Mitsubishi PLCs, also including also, laser cutting machines, welding machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, belts, shafts, and conveyors, together with continuous improvement initiatives.
You should be somebody who can work well alone but when needed be able to integrate well into a team. The role will generally include:- Analysing elements within the business or the whole business Making evaluations of all available data Identifying problems and looking at potential improvements
