You will be supported in developing the service, contributing to positive outcomes for the children and young people and the service. Key ResponsibilitiesDirect Support: Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
You will be there to ensure that residents are involved in all decisions regarding their care, and you'll help encourage and develop new skills through a variety of different activities.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that your residents are safe, comfortable, and most importantly happy.
You will work directly with a small workload of families to help them make changes and support them to care for their children. You need to be able to build relationships quickly and work with children and families who may be described as ‘difficult to reach’. Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.
