You will be involved in various tasks including swarf removal from machine tools, cleaning machines, basic building maintenance, and general housekeeping. Additionally, you will handle local deliveries and collections using the company van. Day-to-day of the role: - Remove swarf from machine tools and maintain cleanliness of machines.
You will develop a strong understanding of the areas to be cleaned, the required cleaning schedules, and the correct use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals on the premises, while strictly following Health and Safety requirements.
You will be required to work effectively as part of a team, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently using your own initiative.
You will contribute to the growth of the business by ensuring that the mill performs at its best allowing production targets to be met. To be effective we are looking for some of the following knowledge, skills, and experience: Previous experience in production environment ideally food or agriculture Ability to be multi-skilled and good to support the needs of the Mill.
