You will be responsible for project delivery and undertake a technical lead role on a range of bridge and structural related projects - Lead and mentor teams on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs, detailed designs and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
You will mentor junior staff, championing their development and nurturing our culture of technical capability. You'll use your solid background in bridge engineering to make key technical decisions and solve complex problems on a diverse portfolio of new build and existing assets, ensuring our delivery exceeds client expectations.
You will be based from Colas' Portsmouth office with support from our wider London team.
You will provide technical and site support to highway and structural inspections, design and supervision of works activities from initial feasibilities and surveys, through design and construction phases to supervision of works and as-built documentation.
