You will support manufacturing activities by directing best methods of manufacture and target areas of improvement using a Lean approach.
You will lead technical discussions with customers, quote lead times and costs for jobs, support NPI projects, assist in CI activities and support the operational team including programming CNC Milling and Turning machines to meet customer demand.
You will be working within a specialist manufacturing environment, supporting the production of complex parts for high-value applications. Key Responsibilities:Set and operate 5-axis CNC machines, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability. Work from engineering drawings, CAD data, and technical specifications to produce components to tight tolerances.
You will work to high quality standards, ensuring efficient use of materials while maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
You will play a key role in maximising stock utilisation, minimising waste, and ensuring adherence to strict quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities – CNC Setter/Operator Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce components to precise customer and drawing specifications.
