You will enjoy working closely with clients on a range of demanding issues whilst helping to mentor and train more junior colleagues. We are looking for people who can work with and lead engineering teams that are either co-located or geographically disparate.

You will also assess the related elements such as fire and life safety systems following client specifications and worldwide standards.

You will work on a range of underground facilities and tunnels, including metro systems, railway stations, road tunnels, cable tunnels and more.

You will be working within the Nuclear and Power area of the business in the Systems Design team where your goal is to support the delivery of numerous projects on behalf of our clients, either in-house or via secondment. The principal safety engineering role will be dynamic, detail orientated and cover every stage of a project life cycle from feasibility to commissioning.

You will enjoy access to the industry’s most significant players, and you’ll have a varied work diet with the possibility to get involved in non-technical areas should you be interested.

You will take responsibility for the delivery of your work and will work closely with clients and stakeholders both remotely and from their premises.
