As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, integrity, and reliability of the nuclear power plant structures.
You will work on the technical design, analysis, and implementation of civil engineering solutions for nuclear projects.
You will also provide specialised technical expertise and guidance within the Nuclear Engineering department, ensuring that all nuclear engineering projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in the UK.
You will also be expected to; -Complete 2D and 3D models, perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, HAP, IES, Open Buildings or Elite). - Prepare and review mechanical drawings, schematics, simulations and technical specifications in accordance with building codes, sustainability goals, and project requirements.
