You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with EHCPs and those requiring additional learning or emotional support. Key Responsibilities
You will work across the school to support teaching, learning, and behaviour management, as directed by teaching and senior staff.
You will work closely with the Behaviour Team to provide interventions and guidance that improve students’ emotional regulation, engagement, and overall progress.
You will deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, promote emotional regulation, and implement behaviour support strategies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and trauma-informed practice. Your NewpanyThis Manchester-based specialist setting provides therapeutic and educational support to primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.
You will work 1:1 with pupils, supporting their learning, emotional regulation, and social development in a safe and nurturing environment. The role requires patience, resilience, and the ability to stay calm when managing challenging behaviour, including both verbal and physical aggression.
