You will be required to support in small classes, typically from Year 7 – Year 11, using behaviour management skills in assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning.

You will need to be resilient, empathetic, patient and not take things too personally. Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

You will work directly with students during timetabled sessions and beyond, providing essential care that enables them to fully participate in college life. Many students rely on you for personal care, which is always delivered with dignity and respect. As a team, we are committed to enabling our students to feel understood and empowered.

You will be expected to provide care at a high standard in order to help the residents and ensure that you are always there for them.

You will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility, handle stress and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner.
