You will be part of a supportive team doing all sorts of things – from security and searches at the gate, to managing deliveries, supervising visitors, and monitoring phone calls and CCTV. It’s a varied and active job involving tasks which combine some desk duties with more physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and walking to escort vehicles across the prison grounds.
You must be resilient, patient, adaptable, enthusiastic and confident in managing challenging behaviour.
You will have frequent updates with your progress through compliance, applications for specific roles as well as receiving additional information on roles which we feel may be of interest to you.
You will be working in Melksham the location is a shared supported living.
You will be working with 3 ladies who like music, going out in the community, attending local clubs, Disco's.
You will be working alongside other staff where there is a real sense of teamwork, supporting people in their daily lives at home or getting out in the community with people.
