You will use de-escalation techniques, provide consistent boundaries and help maintain a calm, structured learning environment. Collaboration with staff, parents and outside agencies is an essential part of ensuring each young person receives tailored support.
You will collaborate with teachers to implement effective strategies and foster positive relationships with students. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for helping young people develop. This is a full-time position with a competitive daily rate ranging from £90 to £120, starting in January 2026.
You must be a driver with a UK Manual Driving Licence and have your own transport, willing and able to travel across the area, supporting young people from their own homes. Reasonable mileage is reimbursed. GCSEs (or equivalent) minimum C grade in English and Mathematics are essential.
You will need to be flexible and willing to work across all year groups from Nursery to Year 6. Experience is preferable.
You will be responsible for providing the children and teaching staff with the support they need to Shine as Lights in the World. GCSE Maths and English (grade C/4-5) is essential and experience working as an LSA is preferable.
