You will be supported by junior doctors (FY2 and GPVTS) and it is expected you will have regular dialogue with the two consultant psychiatrists on other two adult inpatient wards on site. Cross cover will be provided by inpatient and outpatient consultants on a rotational basis.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the specialist nurses within the department, assisting with many day case procedures and attending focus groups. The Clinic nurse will be expected to support patients and carers and provide the relevant written patient information.
