You must be able to connect with individuals on a deep level, providing them with customised care, and helping them achieve their individual goals.
You will be assisting individuals with personal hygiene, grooming and dressing, empowering them to feel confident and comfortable in their own skin.
You must have current Right to Work in the UK and have been employed in the UK for at least 6 months. We no longer have any certificates of sponsorship available and are unable to consider sponsorship.
You will then complete the person-centred training, specific to the person that you are supporting.
You will be working in a respite service in Runcorn, Cheshire ensuring that users are comfortable, happy and enjoy their stay.
You will have experience working with people with complex health needs but experience working with people with a learning disability is not essential as full training will be provided.

You will have an initial phone conversation with the talent acquisition specialist which will be an informal chat and opportunity to ask questions about the position
You will be trained in complex medication and other clinical tasks such as peg , catheter and stoma
You will manage an allocated social work caseload, undertake assessments in accordance with legislation, policies, and procedures, and determine an appropriate level of intervention and service provision.
You will negotiate, coordinate, and provide and/or commission services as appropriate, ensuring the needs and wishes of children are fully addressed in the assessment and planning process.
You will be required to travel to visit families in their own homes and elsewhere in the community.
You must have a working knowledge of relevant government legislation, guidance and local procedures relating to disabled children, their carers and safeguarding.
You will manage an individual caseload.
