You will be there to help inspire your colleagues to deliver the best customer experience in the business and help overcome any issues you come across.
You will have experience in running the show in a fast-paced customer facing environment and be someone who can handle the variety that each day at Wickes brings.
You will assist in making sure we comply with all legislation, guidance, and appropriate practice in relation to health, safety, and wellbeing across our diverse services (including schools).
You will support a range of managers with advice and guidance to develop their health and safety management system arrangements and be an integral business partner to our services.
You will be someone who is: - Warm, caring and naturally confident with babies and toddlers. - Experienced in hands-on care (e.g., nannying, ski nanny work, au pair roles, nursery support, or similar). - Patient, energetic and adaptable to each child’s needs and rhythms. - Calm under pressure and able to create a reassuring atmosphere for both children and parents.
You will be at the forefront of handling all welfare concerns, providing essential one-on-one pastoral support, and managing cases for a diverse range of students, including those with health and SEND requirements. A key part of the job is creating and monitoring support plans and ensuring the safeguarding of all students in line with policy.
