You will be provided with regular support and supervision by your team manager and practice standards will be strongly driven and influenced with the support of your Assistant Team Manager.
You will be expected to undertake timely assessments to a high standard and ensure care planning for children is the best it can be.
You will provide essential support to our young people by helping them gain the best outcome; you will support with education, health, independence and build their self-confidence. As a Night Secure Care Worker, you must be optimistic and passionate about the care you provide and difference you strive to make and considerate of the struggles they face.
You must have a full UK driving licence and ideally your own vehicle but there is a house car you will have access to - NVQ level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce would be very beneficial but would consider someone who is working towards their Level 3 qualification
You will need experience working within children’s homes dealing with children
You will also have access to a 24 hour helpline for assistance and support for yourself and next of kin through any of life’s problems. Access to the Caretech Foundation’s match funding and staff hardship grants (just in case). You will be required to drive our client’s wheelchair adapted vehicle- to escort her to and from school/in and around the community.
