You will have a can-do approach with the acknowledgement of positive behaviour support to ensure all service users can enjoy the highest quality of life and promote independence. Support Worker Duties: –Be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, to include both days, nights and weekends on a rota basis
You will be an informal point of contact for those in the service users circle of support (e.g. Families and Social Workers)Accurately report and record any issues related to the care and support of our Service Users to monitor their health and wellbeingComply with Health and Safety regulations and have regard for the Health, Safety and Welfare of others
You will help create innovative ways to support individuals achieve their own personal goals, aims and ambitions.
You must be comfortable with lone working & supporting individuals with Mental Health NeedsCompassionate, Caring and ConfidentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter, with a high level of motivationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
