You will support the lead Mechanical PM in driving delivery, coordination and commissioning to a clean handover over an 80-week programme, taking ownership of defined areas as you develop. What you are delivering * Plantrooms and distribution takeover: landlord/base interfaces, LTHW/CHW hook-ups, pressurisation/expansion, DPCVs/commissioning sets, strainers and flushing bypasses.

You will be expected to provide technical advice, refer to up-to-date technical knowledge, and provide training or support for technical trainees if required.

You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering.

You will preferably have experience of working in the nuclear and / or defence industries, but also those with relevant industrial design experience looking to work in a technically challenging environment. In this role you be part of a several hundred strong team across the UK, working within the Mechanical Engineering team based in Glasgow, Warrington, Bristol, or Reading.

You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role; this will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work means you must be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV clearance.
