You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to transition into project management from a leadership background, leveraging transferable skills in planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight.
You will be working under broad direction of senior stakeholders and the Chief People and Planning Officer. In this role you will take a leading role in ensuring the quality of team output and establishing project milestones, and are responsible for the delivery of all projects delivered by the Project Management team.
You will also play a key role in developing proposals, engaging with corporate clients, and improving our training and certification offerings in line with market needs. Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate Training – Organising, Pitching & Selling - Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and delivery of corporate training programmes.
You must be articulate, a self-starter, have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and able to demonstrate experience in pragmatically solving problems. Role Responsibilities Successfully manage customer projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction objectives.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including the engineering and commercial teams, as well as external customers and suppliers. - This role leads a portfolio of high-value projects focused on protection, control, and cybersecurity for National Grid or other DNOs and industrial customers.
